Sometimes it’s fashionably beneficial to look at the past for inspiration. After checking out 1971’s ‘Le Mans’ for the billionth time recently, I couldn’t help but once again become enamored with the ‘gulf’ color combination! The sky-ish blue and the companion coral personifies spring/summer fun! With these hues we’re going to craft a few examples of looks that are gauranteed to brighten your wardrobe! Also note that variations in shades are perfectly fine. Creativity is definitely encouraged. Just the pallette is to be adhered to. Mr McQueen would be proud!
Ladies
This tailored button-down is perfect for nearly any occasion! From the office to the barbecue, it just works! Pair with the coral bag below and you can even hit the beach without losing a step.
This option is of course for the casual setting exclusively. When the temps hit the extremes, sometimes even the capris are stifling. Roll the sleeves on the button down mentioned earlier and pair these with the tenis below to complement the coral/gulf blue color scheme.
These onitsuka tiger flats will be comfortable for you ladies and still look mad fly with the outfit we’ve just assembled. The sportiness of the kicks will perfectly balance the more reserved aestethic of the button-down. Either of the heels below will be just as hot if you want to ’sex’ up the look a bit.

Gents
This tee, although long-sleeved, is lightweight and therefore perfectly suited for the warmer seasons. Depending on sleeve position, it can serve us well day or night.
White denim is great and all, but why not go for a linen colored variety? It’s not as bright as white and blends perfectly with the tee above and nearly any shoe choice.
It seems that Gourmet can do no wrong! Their super unique L’Uno is even hotter in red canvas! And since we all know how comfortable canvas is in the spring and summer, there should be no hesitation on copping these joints.
Everybody knows about my love affair with onitsuka tigers. These highlight all the Le Mans colors in a subtle yet stylish manner. And the cup heel is great for motorsport.
